As we grow, we are seeking to hire a veterinary assistant or veterinary technician to join our team. We are committed to ongoing learning and implementing advanced medical procedures. Our veterinary technicians play a crucial role in delivering exceptional medical care and customer service to our clients.
Job Responsibilities:
This position assists the busy 7-doctor small animal practice. Your responsibilities may include but are not limited to, performing an initial evaluation of the animal's condition, cleaning and wrapping wounds, checking vital statistics, collecting samples, and administering medication. You may also be responsible for performing basic lab work and may assist with procedures.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this position will have a Veterinary Technician Certification and a minimum of 1 year of veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience. This person must work well in a team environment, be highly motivated, and be detail-oriented. Riverside Animal Hospital is willing to provide the training for this position. Candidates with animal handling experience (volunteering, animal grooming, boarding, etc.) are also encouraged to apply.
