About the Role

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of veterinary clinical experience.

Key Skills:

• Dog and cat restraint
• IV catheter placement
• Venipuncture (jugular, cephalic, medial/lateral saphenous)
• Running in-house IDEXX lab work
• Radiography
• Familiarity with veterinary pharmacology
• Medication dosage calculation
• Administering medications via all routes
• Inducing anesthesia (R.V.T.)
• Intubation (R.V.T.)
• Surgical monitoring
• Client communication and education (excellent written and verbal skills)
• Understanding medical terminology and medical records
