Associates Animal Hospital in Westborough, Massachusetts has an opportunity for a full-time or part-time veterinarian to join our small practice. Our tight knit team gets to spend more time than usual with our clients and their companion animals due to our size. Our facility has new digital x-rays and dental x-rays, as well as a new dental machine. We provide spay and neuters, soft tissue surgery, and cryosurgery and refer out to emergency and specialty care hospitals that are close by.
This would be a great fit for an experienced vet, but if you are a new grad you are encouraged to apply, too. Our veterinarian schedule is four days a week from noon to close, with the possibility of rotating Saturdays.
Westborough is a nice quiet town with a diverse community. Lake Chauncy is a popular spot for boating, fishing, and swimming. The area also has some excellent hiking trails on Fay Mountain. The nearest city is Worcester, just nine miles away, and Boston is 29 miles west. The area also has many restaurants and coffee shops.
Benefits include superior salary, medical benefits (including health, dental and vision), 401(k), employee assistance program (EAP), CE allowance, vacation, dues, liability coverage, and so much more.
Our practice has a positive, wellbeing-focused culture that we’d love to tell you about. Get in touch by applying today!
I would highly recommend anyone to work for a Vetcor clinic because of all the available resources they offer to their employees! These resources vary from continuing education to the importance of mental health and not burning out. Stonebridge has been one of the best places I have worked and has done nothing but help me pursue my goal of becoming an LVT.
There are programs including VetLife Days and Lend-a-Hand that allow you to spend time at other clinics. I have met some wonderful colleagues this way and have also been able to expand my leadership skills within Vetcor. I actually learned that I love teaching and supporting other veterinarians, especially new graduates. I love soft tissue surgery, so to be able to pass on that knowledge and skill set to new grads, giving them the confidence and skills they need to excel, has been very rewarding. It has been an amazing journey with Vetcor so far and I am excited to continue to be part of this amazing group.
The mentorship and advice from the Vetcor Chief of Staff Advisors have helped me become a better veterinarian and surgeon. They have filled me with confidence in order to become a better leader. Vetcor has been a great corporation to work for.
There is a career path for everybody and not a one size fits all approach.
