Are you looking to join a team that is collaborative and supportive? Look no further than Penny Paws Animal Clinic-San Antonio! We are a brand new general practice offering a wide range of small animal healthcare services in south Texas. Our doctor and staff are committed to providing quality, comprehensive care for pets to ensure their well-being.
San Antonio is a lively and prosperous city with a plethora of attractions to offer! Whether you're an outdoor enthusiast, a food lover, or a culture enthusiast, San Antonio has everything to satisfy your interests. The city is steeped in history and offers activities for everyone. Additionally, it is a great place to raise a family.
Our spacious, well-designed clinic is a new build with a very modern and efficient layout to help optimize workflow. The clinic has all new state-of-the-art equipment, including a portable veterinary ultrasound (a companion therapy laser is also in our very near future)! We have a prime location in a thriving, pet-friendly area with plenty of demand for our amazing services. In addition, our partnership with the Penny Paws family’s mobile vaccine clinics has helped to expand our clientele. Mobile clients are excited to be able to bring pets to our new brick and mortar location for full-service care!
We are looking for a veterinarian to join our growing team! We take employee well-being seriously, and have already created a positive, welcoming and cohesive culture and atmosphere. There are no on-call or weekend requirements at this time, but there is potential to eventually add rotating Saturdays to the schedule.
We can offer superior salary, medical benefits (including health, dental and vision), 401(k), employee assistance program (EAP), CE allowance, vacation, dues, liability coverage, and so much more!
I would highly recommend anyone to work for a Vetcor clinic because of all the available resources they offer to their employees! These resources vary from continuing education to the importance of mental health and not burning out. Stonebridge has been one of the best places I have worked and has done nothing but help me pursue my goal of becoming an LVT.
There are programs including VetLife Days and Lend-a-Hand that allow you to spend time at other clinics. I have met some wonderful colleagues this way and have also been able to expand my leadership skills within Vetcor. I actually learned that I love teaching and supporting other veterinarians, especially new graduates. I love soft tissue surgery, so to be able to pass on that knowledge and skill set to new grads, giving them the confidence and skills they need to excel, has been very rewarding. It has been an amazing journey with Vetcor so far and I am excited to continue to be part of this amazing group.
The mentorship and advice from the Vetcor Chief of Staff Advisors have helped me become a better veterinarian and surgeon. They have filled me with confidence in order to become a better leader. Vetcor has been a great corporation to work for.
There is a career path for everybody and not a one size fits all approach.
Join a group of motivated veterinary professionals while taking advantage of employee programs, resources, and fantastic benefits.
