We are looking for a full- or part-time DVM to join our AMAZING team at Riverside Animal Hospital! No weekend or evening requirements. Each doctor is assigned a daily dedicated personal assistant/technician to help them to complete their daily records and phone calls. We carry a high daily technician to doctor ratio so our DVM’s can spend their days diagnosing, prescribing, and doing surgery.
A new grad would find HIGH quality mentorship within a doctor team that is always learning from each other in a space where second opinions are frequently sought. VET STUDENTS - we LOVE to teach and learn from externs! We would be happy to host you here at Riverside Animal Hospital for 1-2 weeks and can help you gain practical GP/surgical experience. We’re confident that if you come to spend some time with us, you’ll want to stay with us! Ask us about the mentorship program we have developed to help support our current new grad.
Similarly, an experienced doctor would fit right in to blend their expertise with that of our capable vets. Our patients are largely canine and feline, but we do enjoy the occasional visit from a pocket pet, and would love to expand our services based on the interests of the next doctor to join our team.
We are proud to utilize advanced technology to ensure accurate diagnoses and efficient treatment:
• Digital Standard and Dental X-ray units
• Ultrasound unit
• Cryoprobe
• Surgical laser
• We also work with a traveling sonographer who is able to perform echos and abdominal ultrasounds in-house and provide consultation for complex cases.
Effective leadership is one of the biggest keys to a successful clinic, and we feel this is one of our biggest strengths. Our leadership team meets monthly to ensure operations are running efficiently. Our doctors meet monthly to discuss current topics in veterinary medicine. Full staff meetings are held bi-monthly and we use this time to give employees the opportunity to have their voices be heard, but to also complete exercises like CPR refreshers or review heatstroke action plans to encourage continual learning and cohesiveness. To foster clear communication, we have a weekly newsletter called the Riverside Report to keep all staff members up to date on the latest changes and to celebrate our accomplishments.
We work hard but have a fun time while we’re doing it! With many members of the team who have been with us for 10+ years, our clinic offers a warm, family-like atmosphere, and our long-tenured staff are happy to boast about the positive culture that we have fostered here. Our staff enjoys getting quarterly chair massages, completing wellness challenges, and participating in many games/activities throughout the year. Outside of work, our staff members have completed many walks/runs/marathons together, played volleyball on a team together, and have held egg roll making parties and pool parties.
Due to our outstanding reputation in the community, Riverside Animal Hospital initially started as a two doctor practice that has grown into a successful 7 doctor practice due in large part to our many client referrals. We are proud to be the small animal clinic of choice in the area for many large animal and retired veterinarians as well. Check out our 300+ reviews on Google with a 4.9 star average!

I would highly recommend anyone to work for a Vetcor clinic because of all the available resources they offer to their employees! These resources vary from continuing education to the importance of mental health and not burning out. Stonebridge has been one of the best places I have worked and has done nothing but help me pursue my goal of becoming an LVT.
There are programs including VetLife Days and Lend-a-Hand that allow you to spend time at other clinics. I have met some wonderful colleagues this way and have also been able to expand my leadership skills within Vetcor. I actually learned that I love teaching and supporting other veterinarians, especially new graduates. I love soft tissue surgery, so to be able to pass on that knowledge and skill set to new grads, giving them the confidence and skills they need to excel, has been very rewarding. It has been an amazing journey with Vetcor so far and I am excited to continue to be part of this amazing group.
The mentorship and advice from the Vetcor Chief of Staff Advisors have helped me become a better veterinarian and surgeon. They have filled me with confidence in order to become a better leader. Vetcor has been a great corporation to work for.
There is a career path for everybody and not a one size fits all approach.
