Community Connections - June Edition

The warmer weather has our teams out in the community helping wherever they are needed.  From running collections out of their hospitals to sharing laughs as a team, we love to see our practice teams having fun together and helping the helping pets and people in their communities.

BluePath Service Dog Walk-a-thon   Guilderland Bottle Drive

The Middletown Veterinary Hospital team joined Dr. Sandler and his #BluePathServiceDogs for their 2nd annual Walk-a-thon. The walk raises money to help train service dogs for Autistic children.

 

The Guilderland Animal Hospital team hosted a can and bottle drive to help the homeless pets of the Ayres Animal Shelter!

     
Baby Fawn at Northeast   Geist Station Bark Sip Repeat

This little fawn found her way to Northeast Animal Hospital, in Northeast, PA which prompted a friendly, public service announcement to the community about baby animals in the spring!

 

The Geist Station Animal Hospital team was all smiles at the Bark, Sip, Repeat event held at Daniel's Vineyard. The event raises money for #KassieKares: Paws for a Cause 

     
Lunch Bunch Winners at Parkside   Illiana fundraiser for the homeless

Yum! The Parkside Animal Care Center team were the lucky winners of 103.1 WOGB's Lunch Bunch. They received a delicious team lunch and a shout out from the radio for their dedication to their patients! 

 

For the month of June, Dr. Gann of Illiana Veterinary Hospital chose to help Ryan in his mission to fill backpacks for the area's homeless community. The hospital serves as a collection drop off location.

     
Peter Raymond wedding lunch   Vet Tech, Shanelly

The VetCor home office showered Peter Raymond with love (and a Mexican feast) to celebrate his upcoming wedding!

 

 Vet Tech, Shanelly of Livingston Animal Hospital recently went on a volunteer trip to Puerto Rico with Veterinarians for Puerto Rico, where they set up pop-up vet clinics and provided free veterinary care to those in need.
