Dr. Collins, our Chief of Staff, joined the Lawrence Animal Hospital team in April 2009.  Hailing from Glen Cove, Long Island, New York, she now happily resides in Robbinsville, New Jersey.  She received her undergraduate degree from Colgate University in 1992 and earned her DVM degree from Cornell University in 1998.  Prior to joining us, she has practiced at veterinary hospitals in Middletown, Freehold, and Robbinsville, New Jersey.  She is very excited to be a member of the Lawrence Animal Hospital team and looks forward to meeting new clients and their pets!

Dr. Collins has a special interest in dentistry and believes in working together with her clients to provide a long lasting, healthy and enjoyable human-pet relationship.  In her spare time she loves playing golf, singing, listening to music and being an avid New Jersey Devils hockey fan!  She also enjoys spending time with her friends, family (especially her two nieces!) and her two adorable cats, Bungee and Champ.

Dr. Gruber is the newest addition to the Lawrence Animal Hospital team, joining us in September 2010.  She received both her undergraduate degree and veterinary degree from the University of Minnesota. Prior to becoming a veterinarian, she achieved her Associates in Veterinary Technology from Manor College and worked as a Certified Veterinary Technician in a mixed animal/emergency practice in her home state of Pennsylvania.  During that time she also contributed to the glossary of the text book Clinical Anatomy & Physiology for Veterinary Technicians.

Dr. Gruber has worked predominantly in emergency medicine as both a CVT and DVM and continues to work in practice with dogs, cats, exotics, and horses.  She also works for the Minnesota Racing Commission in both Thoroughbred and Standardbred racing.  Her extensive menagerie includes an Ornate box turtle, two cockatiels, a ferret, a hedgehog, a cat, and three Labrador retrievers!
