KAH has been caring for pets in Kingston and the surrounding communities since 1947, and has been American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA)-accredited since 1959. The practice was founded by Dr. Ray Russo, who passed away at 93 years of age in July of 2015. His son, Dr. Mark Russo, joined the practice in 1974 and continues to run the hospital today. All of the veterinarians on his staff have been a part of the KAH team for nearly 10+ years – Dr. Agata DeMarco joined in 2006, Drs. Emily Clair and Sharon Davis joined in 1999, Dr. Patricia Hess in 1989, and Dr. Michelle Rudin in 2000.
