The Fruit & Veggie Challenge Is On

Ready set... eat your fruits and vegetables! VetCor's 2017 Fruit & Veggie Challenge officially starts today, and runs through December 11, 2017.

fruit veggiesParticipants who successfully complete this challenge can earn 25 Wellbeing Rewards points! Here's how:

  • Log 2 servings of fruit and 2 servings of veggies a day for at least 16 days (an average of 4 times a week) using the Fruit and Veggie Challenge tracker on the ahealthyme site.
  • Complete the recommended weekly challenge tasks located under the "Tasks" section of the Challenge Widget on the ahealthyme site. 

According to the CDC, only 13.1% of Americans get the recommended servings of fruit per day, and only 8.9% get the recommended servings of vegetables per day. We hope you have a "veggie" good time eating better and working towards a healthier lifestyle during this nutrition challenge!
