Hingham, Mass., March 5, 2012 – VetCor is pleased to announce the addition of Brian Holub, DVM, as the company’s Chief Medical Officer effective March 1, 2012.

Dr. Holub (OSU, 1983) has owned and operated Countryside Veterinary Hospital in Chelmsford, MA, since 1985. Countryside, which has been honored nationally as the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) 2010 Practice of the Year, as a Veterinary Economics Practice of Excellence in 2000, and as a Merit Award winner in the 2011 Veterinary Economics Hospital Design Competition, has also joined the VetCor family of hospitals as of March 1.

In addition to leading his team of eight veterinarians at Countryside, Dr. Holub introduced a number of progressive programs at the hospital, including ultrasonography, laser surgery, digital radiography, physical therapy, therapeutic laser, root canal therapy, TTA cruciate surgery, rigid laparoscopy, flexible endoscopy, video otoscopy, and the treatment of exotics. He is a medical advisor and grant reviewer for the Winn Feline Foundation. He is also a clinical instructor at Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University for first year veterinary students.
