Veterinarians

Jim Zoet, DVM

Dr. Zoet rejoins the Middleton Veterinary Hospital team as our Chief of Staff.  He pursued his veterinary studies at the University of Wisconsin, earning his DVM in 1996.  Dr. Zoet practiced with us several years ago before going on to work in the field of emergency medicine and critical care.  He gained experience at referral practices and helped found the Veterinary Emergency Service on High Point Road.  We are so pleased he chose to rejoin us here at Middleton Veterinary Hospital!

Dr. Zoet is excited to share his 14 years of experience with your pets in an effort to provide them the very best veterinary care.  He has special interest in noninvasive diagnostic techniques, exotic pet medicine, and preventative care and pain management in geriatric care.  He is active in both local and state veterinary medical associations, currently serving as the president of the Dane County Veterinary Medical Association and as chairman of the Wisconsin Veterinary Medical Association Grievance Committee.  Dr. Zoet and his family (Lisa, Megan, Mariah, and Michael) share their home with an old yellow lab named Zeus.  They adopted him from the lab rescue group L.E.A.R.N., where they volunteer as a foster family for labs looking for a home.
