Veterinarians

Bonnie Nahm, DVM

Dr. Nahm has been at Lincolnway Animal Hospital for over 15 years, most recently as Chief of Staff. She grew up in Iowa, and currently resides in Illinois. Dr. Nahm received her undergraduate degree from Northern State College, South Dakota, in 1985 and her DVM in 1991 while attending Iowa State University. Shortly after graduating from veterinary school Dr. Nahm joined us here at Lincolnway Animal Hospital. Our patients are truly lucky to have such a dedicated veterinarian.

Dr. Nahm’s interests include general medicine and surgery. She truly believes in delivering the best possible care for her clients and their pets. Outside of work Dr. Nahm enjoys reading and cooking. She likes to spend her leisure time with her family and pets, which include four cats and a dog.

Donna Nykaza, DVM

As many of our loyal clients know, Dr. Nykaza has been practicing at Lincolnway Animal Hospital for over 25 years. A native of Illinois, she grew up in Chicago Heights and currently resides in Matteson. Dr. Nykaza received her undergraduate degree from Northern Illinois University in 1976 and her DVM from University of Illinois in 1982. Dr. Nykaza joined us shortly after graduating from veterinary school. Thanks to her hard work and dedication, the Lincolnway Animal Hospital is able to offer you and your pets both high quality medicine and excellent customer service.

Dr. Nykaza’s medical interests include canine and feline internal medicine. She appreciates establishing close relationships with her clients and their pets. Dr. Nykaza is also passionate about gardening and reading and is a big Jimmy Buffet fan! She also enjoys spending time with her friends and family as well as her four cats.

Chiungchieh James Chang, DVM

Dr. Chang joined the Lincolnway Animal Hospital team in May 2007. He grew up in Taiwan and now resides in Chicago, Illinois. He received both his undergraduate degree and his DVM degree from National Taiwan University in 1991. Before joining us here, Dr. Chang has practiced for seven years in Taiwan and also for a year at Banfield, The Pet Hospital in Illinois.

Dr. Chang is interested in small animal surgery, internal medicine, and dermatology. He truly believes in delivering the best possible care for, and establishing close relationships with, his clients and their pets. In his spare time, Dr. Chang enjoys watching movies and television, playing basketball, hiking, swimming, traveling, and spending quality time with his Burmese cat.
