County Line Animal Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a veterinarian to join a newly remodeled full-service practice for cats and dogs. We offer outstanding digital radiography, dental radiography, and ultrasounds! Our long-tenured and experienced team is dedicated to our doctors, patients, and community, as well as staying on top of the latest diagnostics, treatments, and wellness programs. Because of this, many any of our loyal clients have been with us since opening, over 30 years ago.
This is an ideal opportunity for a new graduate to learn and grow their skills alongside our friendly team of doctors, or for an experienced vet to join an environment of collaboration and idea sharing.
We are happy to offer flexible scheduling with no weekend requirements, on-call or emergency hours, and can work with you to work out a schedule that fits your needs and provides a healthy work/life balance. Our doctors appreciate their 4-day work weeks, so there is plenty of opportunity to enjoy life outside of practice. We do not currently have Saturday appointments, but would consider opening a half day if you are interested!
Our hospital is located in Upstate NY, in the town of Ontario. We are within easy driving distance of the town of Webster and the city of Rochester, both offering wonderful cultural experiences in addition to great dining. For outdoor excitement, we have several waterways. We are just south of Lake Ontario – one of the great lakes, and nearby you will also find Irondequoit Bay. Walking paths abound, with multiple trail systems, and even a trail bordering the Erie Canal. Not far south you will find the Finger Lakes Region, with wineries abound, multiple lakes, magnificent foliage, and mountains for skiing. There is something for everyone here in Ontario.
We take employee wellbeing seriously and offer superior salary, medical benefits (including health, dental and vision), 401(k), employee assistance program (EAP), CE allowance, vacation, dues, liability coverage, a family friendly atmosphere and more.
We can’t wait to show you how special we are and look forward to hearing from you. Get in touch by applying today!
I would highly recommend anyone to work for a Vetcor clinic because of all the available resources they offer to their employees! These resources vary from continuing education to the importance of mental health and not burning out. Stonebridge has been one of the best places I have worked and has done nothing but help me pursue my goal of becoming an LVT.
There are programs including VetLife Days and Lend-a-Hand that allow you to spend time at other clinics. I have met some wonderful colleagues this way and have also been able to expand my leadership skills within Vetcor. I actually learned that I love teaching and supporting other veterinarians, especially new graduates. I love soft tissue surgery, so to be able to pass on that knowledge and skill set to new grads, giving them the confidence and skills they need to excel, has been very rewarding. It has been an amazing journey with Vetcor so far and I am excited to continue to be part of this amazing group.
The mentorship and advice from the Vetcor Chief of Staff Advisors have helped me become a better veterinarian and surgeon. They have filled me with confidence in order to become a better leader. Vetcor has been a great corporation to work for.
There is a career path for everybody and not a one size fits all approach.
