Veterinary Technician - Columbus, New Jersey

The Columbus Central Veterinary Hospital is looking for an experienced veterinary technician to join our team. Columbus is an extended hour general practice animal hospital with emergency capabilities. This is a full-time evening position 3:00pm – 11:00pm shift – some weekend shifts will be required. Our Veterinary Technicians play an integral role in providing excellent care to our patients as well as serving as major communicators for our hospital. Candidates must have experience in the following areas: surgical assistance, pharmacy duties, lab work, radiology, monitoring of patients, maintaining anesthetized patients and handling medical records. Candidates must also possess excellent customer service and communication skills. A caring and compassionate attitude is required of all members of our team.
