2024 Starting Off Strong (and Cute!)

2024 Starting Off Strong (and Cute!)

January 2, 2024

Our hospitals see the most adorable pets and it is delightful to share a few of them here on the blog. A couple of these pets are lucky enough to have been adopted by our team members! Read on for their stories and others.

Ponemah Veterinary HospitalPonemah Veterinary Hospital - Amherst, New Hampshire
Dr. Provencher was completely won over by this handsome man. She adopted Hugo and he was welcomed into the Ponemah Veterinary Hospital family with open arms. He is as sweet as he looks and clients and patients at the hospital will get a chance to meet him when they come in for their visits. He plans to stay next to Dr. Provencher as much as he can.

The Animal Hospital of CelinaThe Animal Hospital of Celina - Celina, Texas
This little guy came to The Animal Hospital of Celina sick and small for his age. Dr. Vadala and the team are dedicated to getting him back in good health, but they can’t come up with the perfect name. They reached out to their clients for help choosing the best fit. So far, holiday-related names like Ryder (as in the Red Ryder BB gun) and Linus from the Peanuts characters have been suggested. While he waits for a name, we know is getting all the love and pets he deserves.

St. Charles Veterinary ClinicSt. Charles Veterinary Clinic - St. Charles, Illinois
Dr. Lexi and the team at St. Charles were excited to see so many puppies over the last few weeks. One of them was little Panda, a 10-week-old Sheepadoodle. She was in for her very first vet visit and she was a bit of a show off. Her personality came shining through as she demonstrated her bravery while she met new humans and explored the hospital. We think her favorite playmate and big German Shepherd sister, Freya, may have given her some advice.

Carthage Animal HospitalCarthage Animal Hospital - Carthage, North Carolina
Bumble and Rudolph kept the team company for the month of December. They helped remind clients to keep their pets’ teeth clean and stay up to date on their vaccines as only two adorable characters could. Carthage Animal Hospital has said goodbye to Bumble and Rudolph and hope they come back next year to spread pet health awareness and holiday cheer again.

Suffern Animal HospitalSuffern Animal Hospital - Suffern, New York
Bernese Mountian dogs grow into big and powerful pets, but as pups they they are balls of fluff. Known to be a sweet and affectionate breed, this 10-week-old Berner baby named Rosie loved all the attention she got during her visit at Suffern Animal Hospital. Everyone at the hospital had the same reaction when they held her.

We finished 2023 with more amazing stories from our hospitals nationwide and in Canada.

Keep up with us on Facebook to see how our teams are making a difference in their communities every day.
